Cartoon Drawings
I've still had so much trouble finding something decent to write about on here. I've been out job hunting a lot lately, trekking around the local area handing out CVs, and by the time I've gotten back home, I've been so tired that I just really haven't wanted to try to write anything, because that would involve brain work. Brain work isn't fun when you've got mahoooosive headaches. Plus, I have serious writer's block!
But I really wanted to post something, so I thought I'd just do a simple one about the drawings I've done recently!
I used to do GCSE Art, back in the day, so now I have stages where I'll really fancy doing some drawing, and I'll sit and just start doodling, but then it'll turn into a piece that I spend ages getting right.
That happened last week - I was bored and really wanted to do some drawing, but I wanted to do something other than portrait-style sketches of people. So a friend of mine suggested that I draw Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. I had to Google it, because I've never seen that show (I know, shame on me!), then after I'd drawn that, I started looking for pictures of cartoon characters that I could draw.
So here are the characters I've drawn, that I wanted to share with you!
1. Rainbow Dash
As I said, I haven't seen this show before, so I only had a basic idea of what the character would look like. But here's the outcome of my attempt!
2. Dexter
After Rainbow Dash, I moved on to Cartoon Network characters, the first of which being Dexter, from Dexter's Laboratory!
3. The Powerpuff Girls
The Powerpuff Girls is a show that I LOVED when I was a kid! (Okay, I still love it. I went to a superhero/villain themed fancy dress party as Bubbles.) Here's my drawing of Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup!
4. Johnny Bravo
Johnny Bravo is another CLASSIC Cartoon Network show. I couldn't not draw this guy!
5. Scooby-Doo
Everyone must know Scooby. Who doesn't know Scooby?!
6. Tom & Jerry
The classic cat and mouse cartoon is one I still love to this day! Here are Tom and Jerry!
7. Phineas & Ferb. And Perry.
This is another show that I've never watched, I've only ever seen the adverts to it. (Please, don't hate me!) But I know that people I know like it, so I thought I'd give it a go! I know it's not from Cartoon Network, but let's not be prejudice, huh? I did what I could with the colours!
And that's what I've got as the result of my drawing spree! Please, let me know what you think, it'll be good to get some feedback! *smiley face*
I'm going to try to do some more when I can, and maybe eventually collage them all together!
If you've got any suggestions of characters I could draw, go for it and let me know! I love a challenge!
